Duties and Responsibilities:

· Supervise the efficient implementation of SOP of the department ( Standard Operating Procedures)

· Monitor and control costs - all costs related to product qualification and testing , Test of Critical issues (TOCI) and other cost due to continuously securing the marketability of the product

· Negotiate prices with Lab for different service demands

· Monitor KPI of service providers and QM team and report to the Manager

· Negotiate proven claims related to product safety and quality with core service providers, customers and suppliers

· Communicate and clarify all issues with internal and external customers regarding product requirements, product complaints and failures, test status and test schedules

· Provide guidance and solutions to day to day issues of the team and escalate major issues for final decision to the Manager

· Serve as first level of escalation for PD

· Train QA Engineers regarding product qualification and processes

· Perform other jobs assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

· University graduate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines

· Minimum 8 years relevant working experience in a retail industry or buying office or manufacturing company - with minimum 5 years on a supervisory level

· Extensive knowledge of hardgoods products , production process and quality assurance system.

· In depth understanding of product requirements , testing needs and safety approval

· Analytical , excellent problem-solving skills and able to provide quick solutions

· Excellent communication Skill

· Good knowledge of retail market and customer oriented

· Independent, mature, responsible with excellent leadership skills

· Proficiency in both written and spoken English, preferably can speak German and or Mandarin

· Can work under pressure in a multi-cultural environment
