Job Purpose
Disney English Center Managers takes the responsibility of center general operation management including Operations, Academic and Sales functions to achieve business performance target through maintaining the service quality and execution standard - the success of a Disney English Center is dependent on the teamwork, operation efficiency and guest experience to be delivered by its cast members.
· Develop and maintain a customer oriented team anchored around the 4 operation standards of Disney quality: Safety, Courtesy, Efficiency and Show.
· Create a positive, collaborative and service-focused work environment.
· Demonstrate successful business results in line with company targets.
Direct Line Reports:
· Language Learning Director (LLD) - Responsible for managing and developing the foreign and local trainers to ensure the delivery of strong academic results, parent satisfaction and ensuring that Disney English is an unforgettable experience in the classroom for all of our young language learners, aged 2 to 12.
· Course Consultant - provides the Disney English Experience to potential parents through a comprehensive solutions oriented demonstration and sales process. Once a parent has enrolled and becomes a member of the Disney English Center the Course Consultant maintains a strong relationship with the parent and learner to develop a long-lasting relationship with Disney English.
· Operations Supervisor (OS) - Responsible for managing and developing the Front Desk and Clubhouse Administrators and ensuring high service standards, center operational and safety standards are met, financial controllership and banking processes are adhered to and the center is clean and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Service and Operational Standards
Daily Operation -- Ensure all Cast members adhere to Disney English operational process, service standards to create and maintain an engaging, service-focused environment where the needs of the learners come first.
Operation standard - Ensure high service standards, center operational and safety standards are met, financial controllership are adhered to and the center is clean and well-maintained.
Academic Quality -- Ensure the delivery of strong academic results, parent satisfaction and ensuring that Disney English is an unforgettable experience in the classroom for all of our young language learners, aged 2 to 12.
CC management -- Responsible for managing and developing a strong team of Course Consultants who proactively manage relationships with potential and existing Disney English parents to achieve sales and renewal targets.
Execution - Ensure the national and regional champion, programs and processes are well communicated and executed in center level.
Financial responsibility
· Work with the District Manager to establish monthly and quarterly sales targets and support the Sales team to proactively manage relationships with potential and existing Disney English parents to achieve sales and renewal targets.
Leads the center cast members to Identify the local business opportunities and deliver the result through the team work and process management.
Identify/implement the training needs of the team through regional resources collaboration.
Ensure all Cast members understand the center business objectives and work together to deliver high standard guest experience to the learner and parents.
Ensure the center operating costs are in line with the annual budget.
Cast member Management, Training and Development
Provide a safe, healthy and engaging work environment for their team.
Ensure all center Cast members understand and follow Disney English policies, processes, service standards.
Lead the team leader of operations, academic and sales function to ensure they deliver the performance coaching, people management, team motivation, training and capability development to the cast members.
Safety and Security
· Conduct regular safety and security training and drills, ensuring all Castmembers understand and are able to execute their center's Emergency Response Plans.
· Report any safety or security-related incidences in an accurate and timely manner through the appropriate channels.
Main KPIs (including but not limited to)
- Achieve center enrollment / cash in target
- Achieve agreed upon renewal rate (where applicable)
- Maintain a low staff turn-over rate
- Consistently score 90% or higher on Mystery Shopper visits
Job Qualifications:
7 years experience in managing a fast growing retail or service / guest experience business.
Multi-functional management experience.
Good at English Writing, reading and speaking.
Bachelor degree or above required.
Have a high entrepreneurial spirit and creativity to grow and improve the business.
High level personal integrity and credibility.
A passion for working with children.
Experience in managing similar educational service business is a plus.
