Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement global packaging and physical flow strategy in line with global guidelines, in order to standardize processes in Shanghai Plant

• Benchmark best practices in other region, companies

• Audit and approve suppliers packaging solution design with new PN, insuring quality, logistics optimization, and link it with direct procurement team

• Lead Value Engineering projects on current suppliers package solution, resulting in E2E cost reduction, logistics, material, quality and improve HSE

• Design or optimize finished goods package solution of fulfill customer requirements and support sales/NPI/PM for cost impact analysis and new project quotation

• Design or optimize logistics solution based on quotation and actual spending for both inbound and outbound shipments

• Support customer claim regarding packaging and link it with customer desk and sales team

• Optimize physical flow (external warehouse, internal warehouse, shopfloor) to increase productivity. Lead continuous improvement in all physical flows activities in term of:

  1. Define and improve material flows and logistics area layouts in plant warehouses and external platforms

  2. Definition of receiving, line feeding and shipping processes

  3. Participate and support the implementation of the GEM standards through VSM & Kaizen workshops

  4. Support MHS standardization and trainings in plants

• Manage packaging providers panel through meeting, negotiation and visit, in line with COE team

• Integrate Standard work into GEM and fully implement HSE and other duties assigned by supervisor/Manager
