Banma Network Technology Co.,Ltd
In 2015, Alibaba and SAIC Motor co-founded the Banma Network Technology Co., Ltd, which is the first Auto + Internet case in the industry. In September 2018, Banma completed the first round of financing and became a unicorn company. In August 2019, SAIC Motor and Alibaba Group jointly announced the strategic restructuring of Banma Network and YUNOS, to increase the investment in the auto industry. Banma obtained the full ownership and right to use the YUNOS underlying architecture and codes. The use of the intellectual property can be authorized by Banma to car brands or designated partners.
The Banma Intelligent Internet Car platform based on AliOS, an independent China domestic operating system, has been leading the world for three years. Banma has been applied to 33 production models from 8 auto brands such as Roewe, MG, MAXUS, DongFeng Citroen, Ford, Qoros, Baojun, Skoda, Baojun, and has more than 100 eco-partners.

We are determined to serve the whole automobile industry chain with digitization and to play the role as the base of digital technology and mobility eco-platform of the industry, empowering the OEMs to transform from manufactures to mobility service providers.
