Service Delivery:

Create x-divisional Fixed assets Team under R2R and to standardize fixed assets processes cross all divisions. The scope covers but not limited to Shanghai Campus, Pharma, Sandoz and SNPT TechOps, office improvements and reinstatements, etc. 

Ensure timely and accurate fixed assets accounting treatment in all FA modules, e.g. assets acquisition and capitalization, depreciation, disposal, physical counting, impairment testing, etc.

Ensure timely and accurate month-end fixed assets closing and give strong support to reporting team to ensure accurate fixed assets reporting for both FCRS and statutory;

Keep close interaction with stakeholders including but not limited to assets keeper, machine engineers, BPA, REFS, etc. and implement any global projects when needed.

Support internal audit, statutory audit, tax audit, and timely deliver required documents with good quality as well as solve the challenges to ensure the satisfactory result.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with Novartis Accounting Manual (NAM), Novartis Financial Controls Manual (NFCM) and regulatory requirements and implementation in internal guidelines.

 Education: University level degree in Business Administration/ Economics/Finance; 

                 Chartered Accountant or in-depth fixed assets accounting experience preferred Languages:  Mandarin plus fluent English (spoken and written)

 Experience: 6 years+ working experience in Finance, experience in audit firm or fixed assets accounting is highly preferred; 

 Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization; 

 Familiar with Novartis internal processes is preferred; 

 Experience of leading global company is preferred. SAP knowledge.
