Title: Marketing Manager

Based: Shanghai

Report to: Regional Director of Marketing – Asia Pacific

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with hotel clients to construct and distribute e-newsletter / email campaigns.
• Able to negotiate with partners/clients for the best offers.
• Able to work with internal CRM System
• Able to work with internal departments to assist hotels with carrying out marketing activities
• Evaluate marketing campaigns
• Translate marketing material between English and Chinese may needed.
• Produce and send any personalized regular reports based on hotel clients’ requirements.
• Enhance business performance through member loyalty programs and direct marketing
• Assist supervisor in execution of marketing program and activities.
• Any other marketing activities assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Education:

• University graduate preferably in hotel, Marketing or related disciplines.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years working experience is preferred. Hotel/Tourism/Hospitality experience an asset

Personal Suitability:

• Initiative, well-organized, responsible and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Self-disciplined and task oriented.
• Professional appearance
• A self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player while being able to work independently

Skills:

• Computer literacy is a must – Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet etc.
• Strong analytical skills
• Familiar with Dreamweaver/FrontPage or Website is preferred

Language:

• Good command of oral and written English as well as Chinese is essential
