Responsibilities:

  

The program manager of L&D is accountable for developing and implementing an overarching learning services that is aligned to the business needs of the client organization being supported.

• Build credible relationship with Cisco Engineering China leaders and HR managers by understanding the Engineering strategy and business deliverables; Able to do needs analysis, and build the learning solutions to support the specific Cisco Engineering clients
• Develop and deliver learning programs, such as New Employee Orientation and Experence program, as per the annual training plan and needs analysis.
• Coordinate the instructors and LAS to schedule classes as per the quarterly forecast.
• Attend third-party training partner classes to monitor and evaluate performance of instructors.
• Develop or modify learning products, tests, exercises or courses as assigned.
• Monitor the quality and feedback of the classes and take appropriate action as necessary.
• Provide ongoing / summarized reporting of L&D business impact and business engagement results to regional business stakeholders and HR Leads as necessary.
• Actively advocate the value of the L&D solutions and work with the business stakeholders to increase its adoption.

Requirements:

• Requires minimum BS/BA degree, advanced degree preferred
• 3+ years’ experience in learning & development and/or organization development, and program management
• Solid understanding on professional skills and leadership development with Industry network
• On-boarding and early in career learning and development experience is a plus
• Solid understanding of software/hardware engineering, product marketing or solution sales, ideally related to IT industry is a plus
• Working knowledge of Engineering top initiatives and strategies; or able to quickly build this business acumen
• Instructional Technology skills are a plus; familiar with learning & development strategies and learning systems; understands range of learning and development solutions available to maximize performance
• Excellent program management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication, formal presentation skills; fluent in English
