职位描述
Responsibilities
1.Make preliminary situation analysis of potential suppliers, assess their suitability, current and potential performance level and make recommendation for development or not. (Conduct Audits)
2.Establish an agreed improvement plan with the suppliers, ensuring their commitment and manage the implementation of actions to agreed timescales
3.Secure appropriate support from and establish effective and timely communication with the organisation to be able to deliver the development and launch of new suppliers
4.Provide an improvement plan to the team
5.Timely and effective communication of risks and issues outside of their control to Supplier Development Project Manager to enable corrective actions to be implemented in time to keep the project on track
6.Train and coach suppliers as required to develop in terms of quality performance in line with Driveline best practice and tools (e.g. Quality tools, 5S, Kaizen techniques
7.Assure in connection with the Purchasing TTG line companies that all APQP activities are understood, planned, and followed
8.Support Purchasing TTG line companies in developing approved PPAP documentation and including performing PPAP audits.
9.Implement and monitor key performance indicators for suppliers to focus and drive performance
10.Assure for each new part number all APQP activities are reviewed, a plan is developed and followed by the supplier and GKN
11.Assure Supplier Complaint responses are well documented, linked to AQP Documentation and that the root cause has been identified.
12.Verify Supplier Complaint responses at the Supplier's location to confirm all process documentation, control plans and conclusions address Root cause.
Competences:
Formal qualifications required:
1.Bachelors Degree in Technical Field, Professional certification preferred.
2.Fluent in English.
3.Auditing qualification and practical auditing experience
4.Advanced professional qualification in Supplier development tools (Kaizen)
Previous experience required:
1.Working knowledge of Automotive quality tools - FMEA, Control Plan, AQP, PPAP, MSA, etc
2.3-5 years experience as a Quality Engineer with SQA responsibilities.
3.1-3 years minimum quality auditing experiences with ISO/QS9000 standard.
4.Working knowledge of statistical process control and analytical techniques.
5.Extensive international working and cultural awareness either through overseas placement or traveling.
