DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (up to seven key responsibility and duty areas)
· Be responsible for indirect purchasing responsibility for the region and country in some areas incl. prepare for tender, bidding, negotiation and contract management under supervision of sourcing manager
· Set up category related strategy and actions for country and regional assigned sourcing category to ensure cost reduction targets being realized
· Leading strategic sourcing projects for bundling and consolidations across ABB divisions and regions
· Conduct category sourcing analysis & market surveys
· Is responsible for setting up & maintain indirect catalogue content in Purchasing System.
· Is responsible for documentation/achiving of sourcing contracts & vendor qualification documents in consistent manner according to Sourcing Guideline
· Support in contract preparation
· Monthly and quarterly report on spend data and contract status, Savings, vendor KPIs etc
· Organize internal meetings & vendor meetings
· Ensure an efficient purchase to pay process for the category and propose process improvement
· Report SCM success stories within the category purchasing

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Min. 3-5years working experience in purchasing and/or sourcing in China, thereof
u Min. 2 year within multinational organisations
· SAP purchasing user knowledge is a plus
· Experience in sourcing market in indirect areas like MROs, Facility management, Capital Investment, Lab Supply, R&D centersc – a strong plus
· Experience of coordinated and consolidated sourcing projects across different sites, plants or BUs preferred
· Excellent negotiation skills and command of written and oral English
· Experience in Project management  preferred
