Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Expand field applications support for Fiber Optics market and customers country wide in China, including Hong Kong, and maximize customer coverage and responsible for design-won.

2. Support Sales, including direct Sales, channels and disty for the Fiber Optics related activities, take lead and responsible for tech related issues.

3. Work closely with Sales and PLs to provide Fiber Optics related devices application instruction to the customers and resolve their application problems, work with PL and sales to resolve quality issues if any.

4. Follow up and push Fiber Optics related programs development by through communication with and between the customers and PL.

5. Work, assist and cooperate closely with project lead or business development manager in the field, and sales to identify customers/market needs/opportunities, set up the bridge between market needs and factory engineering design capability, develop customer base, and help PL on technology trend, competition and industry knowledge.

6. Develop Knowledge of M/A-COM fiber optics related products and their performance and applications as well as customer base in the region.

7. Improve the Fiber Optics products knowledge of all FSEs and Channel partners through customer site visit and facilitating training. Conduct product and Tech training.

8. Expand the basic FAE roles to customers in nearby area for generic purpose at the absence of the market oriented FAE, for fast speed response and efficiency at request.

Key Competencies Required:
? 3 years working experience in the Fiber Optics, BTS or Microwave industry.
? Knowledge on generic Fiber Optic, especially RF/MW devices used in Fiber Optics systems, basic RF design theory and trade off not only at device/components level, also RF system level is required.
? Good experience in Fiber Optics device/components competition and understand the market.
? Understand Fiber Optic device and components including MMIC and hybrid module, be able to testing, tuning and problem identification and troubleshooting.
? Good communication skill with both customers and internal team is desired, in both Chinese and English. Written English is a must, fluent verbal English is much preferred and a plus due to the international working environment.
? Be able to work independently to support customers, Sales and Sales channels, and play important role in the team and team work is a must.
? Frequent travel is required, to visit customers, training in head office, etc.
? Skill in driving multiple tasks
? Good customer service sense
