Job Summary / Objective: Customer information and quality data management for all plants in Asia: Establish and maintain quality database, analyze quality data and coordinate quality activities to eliminate "red log" items in the management report.
Essential Functions / Roles and Responsibility
1. Collect quality data from the plants in the region, compile a Regional Scorecard monthly and populate the quality data into Corporate Scorecard.
2. OEM PPM/WC performance monitoring and analysis on monthly basis;
3. OEM Customer complains monitoring and tracking on weekly basis;
4. Follow up action plan for elimination of "red Log" items.
5. Support communication processes in within the region and to other regions with quality alert, quality policies, VQA awards, Lesson Learned, quality initiatives, tools, performance and achievements.
6. Support operation, PD engineering, business team and customer by analyzing on key quality metrics and information with statistical method and enterprise quality tools, e.g. VPRS, Enterproj, ReportCard. VQDS etc.
7. Collect other information to support the database. Generate tables, charts or reports for review, benchmarking, and risk assessment.
8. Support warranty data analysis from customer, VQDS, and internal data per business need and specific requirement.
9. Support on quality system audits;
10. Control and maintain central quality information; Records Management
11. Other duties assigned by management.
Preferred Competencies
1. Bachelor’s Degree or above in Engineering, Statistics or equivalent field.
2. Work experience in automotive industry for at least 3 years;
3. Experience in automotive quality data management and analyzing;
4. Experience in working in multi-functional teams;
5. Skilled at statistics and MS Office tools;
6. A competent trainer for quality core tools;
7. Fluent spoken and written English ability and good communication skills.
