Business Development Manager MPS
Introduction
The Business Development Group of the BL MPS is responsible for the development of strategies for both systems as well as system enhancements to enhance sales, hence actively drive revenue targets. In addition, the group plays a pivotal role in developing business models for future mature products, as part of ASML’s Life Cycle Management.

Based on an in-depth knowledge of your area of expertise you will drive influence across multiple sectors through broader business processes. You take ownership of deliverables and targets and drive these through the BL MPS Sales and other sectors as required. Your areas of responsibility:
? Business Development Strategy for specific products, regions and accounts
? Revenue stream optimization through alignment of business and technical aspects on the one hand and customer requirements on the other hand
? Consolidation of long term technology and service roadmaps
? Alignment of roadmaps with our customer base
? Priority setting of projects to support the long term business plan
? Business model for future mature products
? Liaison between BL and other ASML business units for alignment in areas of mutual interest
? Drive, monitor and review projects on the roadmap
? Contribute to Product Policy and Pricing committee
? Support MPS options sales, as required
? Support MPS sourcing efforts, as required
Interfaces
? The business line MPS is responsible for selling mature equipment solutions. This BL works closely with the manufacturing site in Taiwan and with Service teams in the field.
? The Business Development Manager interfaces internally with the Veldhoven-based MPS management team, local Account Management, Business Lines, Customer Support (Application Business Support), Finance and externally with the technical & management interfaces at the customer
Location
ASML Shanghai office
Travel
Roughly 15% domestically, with occasional trips to Veldhoven
REQUIREMENTS
Education
? Minimum MSc in an Engineering or Physical Science
? MBA or business education is a strong advantage
? Experience in marketing is an advantage
Experience (≥ 5 years)
? Extensive semiconductor industry experience
? Experience of Lithography systems and customer application strongly preferred.
? Marketing and/or commercial experience
? Strong knowledge and experience of products and its applications
? Experienced in commercial processes
? Experienced in regular interaction with (executive) management
Personal Skills
? Deep analytical skills.
? People management
? Structured, accurate and able to maintain overview
? Excellent communicator with different levels in the organization.
? Ability to manage stakeholders.
? Ability to build bridges across disciplines, both on an executive level, and on an (expert) technical level.
? Proactive and creative
? Good command of the English language, both oral and written

? Remains persistent and follows up on issues until problems are solved, even beyond own area of responsibility in order to meet customer needs
