Purpose of the Position:
Due to talent internal transition, Beijing plant QA Glass Lab would like to provide glass lab deputy engineer for the needs
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Measure raw material /glass sample for physical and chemistry data
- Raw material / Cullet lot management and change, monitor cullet inventory & cullet ratio adjustment
- Evaluate statistical control (SPC/IESPC) for composition measurements and associated need for batch adjustments
- Participate in daily batch calculations and batch release
- Recipe management and reduce glass composition variability
- Improve and maintain Lab system and equipment stability
- Raw material & Cullet quality control& closely communication with worldwide team
- Co work with worldwide & tech engineering team for process improvement and trial , including
EEP/ECN/PDC...
- Safety, 5S, PCPD,GEII
Project involved with:
Co-work with project team for Glass Lab startup activity and in charge of daily production & day to day responsibilities after startup
Education & Experience
- Experiment / manufacturing/engineering environment experience
- 2+ years in lab field
- Bachelor or above degree in Chemistry, Chemical, Material discipline is prefer
Required Skills
- Good English capability (verbal and written)
- Strong Office and PC operation skills Familiar SPC tool
- Experience with Six Sigma / DMAIC principles is prefer
- Strong communication and execution skills
- Knowledge of ISO management system & Quality assurance
- Knowledge of process data-drive, and root cause finding
- Continue improvement and active learning
Desired Skills
- Skillful in operation activity
- International & multi-culture communication & coordination ability
Soft Skills
- Excellent presentation and reporting skill
- Strong ownership of achieving plant goal
- Creative and with strong continuous improvement work characteristic
- Work independently by him/herself and also work well within team group
