This position is for Tenneco China engineering center which is located at Jiading Anting with shuttle bus provided for commute.


REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor of mechanical engineering with 2 years design experience in Automotive industry
· Extensive experience in CAD software,proficient in UG.
· Extensive experience in tool and manufacturing process development
· In-depth knowledge of CAD and functional application of GD&T
· Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills both in English and Chinese
· Excellent computer skills required


RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide 3D/2D design, drawing and release according to customer input and engineering input.
· Manage individual new product development projects and coordinate activities with various internal customers.
· Develop manufacturable designs and coordinate with tooling sources for constructions & verification
· Create assembly, component layout and details to verify manufacturing feasibility
· Apply GD&T with respect to processing and checking the components
· Create / participate in creation and review of design and process FMEA's
· Work with Model Shop / tool sources to verify tool and / or part construction (Verify and establish operational boundary conditions)
