Prototype Technical Engineer

Location: Jiading, Shanghai

Responsibilities:

1. Create and maintain prototype inspection reports;

2. Create and fellow-up on model shop, test and design orders as required;

3. Promote Total Value Management (TVM) initiatives with in your areas responsibilities;

4. Coordinate purchasing activity relative to prototype components;

5. Support and adhere to Tenneco Automotive EH&S policies and procedures.

6. Support PM to provide prototype quotations to customer purchasing or per Tenneco Automotive procedure;

7. Support to manufacturing production facilities.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or automation;

2. 2 years of working experience in the fields of production technology/manufacturing;

3. Good communication skills, problem solution-oriented;

4. Good language skills; (written and spoken English)

5. Able to read and understand the mechanical drawings requirement;

6. Familiar with the measuring tools and equipments;

7. Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and Powerpoint;
