职位描述：

Financial Accounting
？ End to end delivery of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and general ledger functions for the North Asia region within the Association internal control framework
？ Lead the month end process ensuring that all year to date transactions are captured depicting the accurate financial performance and position, and timely closure of general ledger
？ Streamline and improve the existing processes to drive efficiencies and effective control over the business
？ Design and implement effective internal controls and team efficiency measures
？ Manage the annual audit process as per the agreed timelines and relevant auditing standards
？ Lead the local tax planning and compliance via our external tax experts.
？ Responsible for the local payroll (outsourced?)
？ Manage the relationship with the local banks

Finance Business Partnering
？ Provide knowledgeable and valuable inputs to drive the best key business decisions and actions that will deliver sustainable growth in North Asia.
？ Deliver timely management information that provides insight on current and expected future performance, and brings external context to the internal performance of the region (e.g. what are our competitors doing in a particular market segment?)
？ Financial modelling and investment appraisals of initiatives in the region and post implementation
reviews to assess success of activities
？ Carry out ad hoc analysis to assess and report on business performance
？ Coordinate the planning process agreeing expected growth, revenue and financial contribution
？ Work closely with the regional leadership team to deliver plans that demonstrate prioritisation of
resource allocation against ROI
？ Lead on the delivery of timely and accurate budgets ensuring that each budget owner is fully
bought into delivering on their budget.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
？ Supervise the work of one team member, developing and motivating them to excel in a high performance
culture.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
？ This is a hands-on role and you would be expected to be highly proficient in delivering timely and
accurate financial information and assessing ROI through financial modelling.
？ Proven track record in implementing effective internal controls
？ To speak persuasively and engagingly with senior figures, challenging where necessary to
ensure that bottom line results are delivered and that any new business proposals are
commercially sound.
？ As a key link between finance and operations this role requires the ability to communicate
financial impacts clearly and effectively to non-finance colleagues.
？ The role requires extensive knowledge of all areas of the business. A highly commercial and
strategic perspective will be required.
？ Strong intellect with a passion to learn and the credibility to work closely with the senior
leadership team to drive the business forward
？ Resourceful with a deadline driven and ‘can do’ attitude, and the maturity to respond to change in
a positive way
？ Strive for constant improvement; initiative and new idea generation
？ Leadership and teamwork are a must, as are mentoring and coaching abilities
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
？ Fluent in English
？ Experience of working in a global organisation
？ Professional accountancy qualification (ACMA or equivalent)
