职位描述：
Key Result Areas:
1) Provide technical support to customers
2) Report on product problems experienced on the field and perform trouble shooting and failure analysis and drive a solution internally and externally
3) Follow trials of new products
4) Assist in technical seminars to the key customers.
5) Provide comprehensive trip reports on all customer visits including assigned actions and targeted completion dates.
6) Collaborate with the appropriate steel plant personnel to provide technical solutions to customers
7) Must have excellent customer relations skills and must be able to deal with customer complaints/requirements professionally.
8) Monitor and report on competitive activity
9) Collect monthly product consumption
10) Monitor flux performance, including sales activity and support products promotion
11) Develop new business and increase product penetration, increase sales revenue
12) Needs to be familiar with Vesuvius products and working environment in order effectively make the best contribution to the business.
13) Willing to travel frequently, >60% of time, in all China.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in a scientific field. A degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science and Chemical Engineering are a plus

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in steelmaking or related field. Knowledge of Vesuvius products and organization is a plus

Knowledge:
? Understanding of the steelmaking processes and particularly of the continuous casting process. Understanding of Ingot casting process is a plus.
? Familiarity with technology of fluxes used in the continuous and ingot casting of steel and familiarity with refractory technology
? Understanding of the interaction between steel, fluxes and refractories.

Skills & Behaviour:
? Broad based analytical skills to evaluate root cause of issues occurring.
? Inquisitive minded to “think outside the box”.
? Hands on approach, prepared to spend as much time as necessary at our customer locations, in order to be able to effectively complete a project.
? Occasionally the job may be physically demanding requiring to lift fairly heavy weights, long periods of standing, stair climbing etc. as in keeping with our customer plants.
? Willingness to make technical presentations in front a large audience, when necessary.
? The ability to work with people at many different levels within Vesuvius and our customers will be needed. Often keen diplomatic skills are needed.
? Must speak Chinese and English.
? Being able to travel extensively within China.
? Can tolerate an odd working schedule.

Problem Solving & Complexity:
In addition to the necessary technical skills the person will need to understand both formal and informal problem solving. Sometimes the work involves going down uncharted paths and a high level of persistence may be required. 举报 分享
