This role offers an exciting mix of responsibilities in the field of Vehicle and Powertrain Attributes and Test Engineering, combining project management, technical expertise.
The role encompasses the following responsibilities:
? Provide expertise to all Ricardo Shanghai staff on vehicle and powertrain attributes and testing related issues
? Identify attributes and testing needs in line with project requirements
? Identify attribute improvement or mitigation actions
? Provide advice remotely and at customer or test provider site on vehicle or powertrain attribute assessment, test process, measurement and results
? Guide customer or customer test provider on component validation including performance, durability and design verification
? Represent Ricardo Shanghai in all attribute and test related discussions
? Monitor and keep abreast of attribute and test best practice and standards with support from Ricardo global teams
? Support complex attribute and test programmes and produce reports
? Coordinate and execute attribute and test planning at Ricardo Shanghai including development of test and customer reports
The ideal candidate:
? A specialisation in vehicle and/or powertrain attributes and/or test engineering, such as NVH and sound quality, Thermal Engineering, Performance Economy and Driveability
? Strong experience coaching engineers and teams on attribute and test engineering
? Strong experience autonomously leading attribute and test oriented projects
? Good knowledge in the field of calculation and analysis for attribute and testing related matters
? Good knowledge on vehicle and powertrain test methods
? Strong knowledge of vehicle / engine / transmission components and function
? Open minded and result oriented
? Willing to work on challenging technical projects in a wide range of situations including local or overseas OEM, Ricardo or client site (manufacturing plant, test facility or other)
? Influential and articulate in both written and oral communication Chinese / English
? Willing to travel and comfortable working across a range of cultures

Qualifications:
? BS or MS in automotive engineering
? 5+ years work experience in vehicle and/or powertrain engineering. 举报 分享
