Reporting Line: Sales director- Great Shanghai
Objectives of the job:
- Manage Customer service members across organizations to ensure necessary legal, finance and QA requirements are met;
- Lead the cost reduction and process improvement, reduces the uncertainty and risks in daily operation by managing the whole steps of order process;
- Provide order line fulfillment through the management of sales orders ,credits, sales forecasting, inquiries and pro-active order status;
- Set objectives for customer service staff, facilitate staff training, performance reviews, career development plans and reward and recognize staff for achievements, Deal with performance and teaming issues with staff;
- Ensure operating procedures are documented, revised and updated as required, follow company policies and procedures and ensure that any deviation required is correctly authorized and documented;
- Actively be involved & take the initiative as team member of the projects which has impact for CSR work;
- Manage PPG sales order et. Follow up sales offers, accounts, paperwork and communications with customers
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily follow up of customer needs and communications including inquiries and order processing, billing and customer enquiring handling;
- Work closely with other salespersons in the team or other relevant functional departments to assure customer satisfaction and on time deliveries;
- Monthly reports to management such as customers' sales reports and credit balance sheets;
- Maintain and well organize Customer data on regular basis;
- Regularly update the customer with the progress of their orders;
- Pro-actively solve issues that may rise;
- Weekly report payments' schedule;
- Daily update the company's database;
- Collect all necessary information from other departments in order to assure the process according to the customer's requirement yet within the company's allowances and rules;
- Perform periodic reports on purchasing statistics, accounts receivables, customers' ordering behavior^etc
Shared Responsibilities:
- Distributed Products Inventory (shared with country Head of Operations)
Excluded Responsibilities:
- Logistics
Education / experiences /skills / competencies required
1. University Degree or above in international trading, logistics, supply chain management, business management, etc. is preferred;
2. Experience and skill/ competencies:
- At least 8 years of working experiences as Customer Service Rep (CSR) or 2 years of Customer Service Supervisor in multinational companies
- Experience in Chemical or related industry is preferred
- Knowledge in ERP (preferably in SAP), and shipping practices is a must
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Good planner and scheduler
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Initiative
- Team player
