Batch Controls Engineer
Major Responsibilities:
？ Batch Process:
？ Optimize and operate mixing equipments.
？ Track and report on critical quality metrics and alert appropriate levels to trends and/or critical quality issues.
？ Technical analysis of raw material, and mixing processes. Apply analytical results to improve processes and meet customer requirements.
？ Use engineering principles and data to help solve problems and trouble shoot production issues.
？ Reduce batch variability and improve melting performance through mixing process improvement initiatives and projects.
？ PLC coding, trouble shooting and process improvement.
？ iFIX software basic operation and maintenance.
？ Attend new expansion project with Division, design review and equipment checkout.
？ Conduct equipment and process experiments and innovations to achieve operational excellence and eliminate batch errors.
？ Co-Work with Division to start up new expansion/test and implementation into manufacturing/ process improvement.
？ Co-Work with Division with new expansion project of design review, equipment checkout (overseas travel is needed) and equipment installation review, start-up and acts as a member in receiver team.
Basic requirement:
？ At least one-year stay in current position and have received at least a Fully Meet Expectation rating (Rating 3) on the last performance appraisal.
？ No any behavior/ performance improvement suggestion within the past year/ No discipline violation record within the past year.
Required Skills:
？ Experience with Six Sigma DMAIC principles.
？ Basic electrical/ control components concepts
？ Familiar with PI system, Process Book, data collection and analysis.
？ Familiar with AB control system components.
？ AB PLC coding, maintenance and trouble shooting.
？ iFIX system operation, maintenance, programming and trouble shooting.
？ RSView software operation, programming and development.
？ Good English communication skill.
？ Good trouble shooting skills.
？ Technical curiosity.
？ Strong process management skills.
？ Strong project management skills.
？ Strong verbal and written communication skills/ multi-lingual
Experience
2+ years in control/electrical system development/ maintenance is preferred; manufacturing/engineering experience desired.
Education
？ College or above degree in Electrical or Automatic Control is preferred.
