OVERVIEW:
This position is to lead, coach and be responsible for warehouse operations and distribution plans according to SOP and safety instructions.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working safety
1. Supervising working safety for both SSAB employees and subcontractors who work in the warehouse area, ensuring any work is done safely according to the safety rules and regulations of SSAB APAC
2. Ensuring that all the warehouse operators work with following safety rules and SOP by insisting on giving training, correcting wrong behaviors, re-training, coaching and having conversation with operators
3. Encouraging the team to report deviations and near misses, initiating improvement actions for any safety deviation or near miss in order to continuously improve working safety
4. Cooperating with safety coordinator on safety training, safety walk, deviations / near misses / incident handling and improvement work

Warehouse operations
1. Supervising the day-to-day warehouse operations of material receiving , storage , issuing of materials, delivery and product shipment process in accordance with established plans (and also drive the development of the planning process)
2. Training, coaching and developing training with IT for warehouse team to be enable to work in BASE and PSI
3. Cooperating with production, production planning, O&D and sales to win 100% on time delivery for customer, acting as the "internal supplier” to O&D
4. Defining and optimizing warehouse / stockyard layout, which include lean flow implementation in warehouse (lean layout, FIFO, 5S, visual management and etc.) , storage utilization, appropriate storage practices, inventory control as well as a safe, secure and clean warehouse environment
5. Supervising and cooperating on monthly and annual physical inventory taking and cycle counting implementation, cooperating on inventory taking deviation with cross functions as production, O&D, inventory control, finance and IT
6. Planning, organizing and assigning the warehouse workforce to meet overall order of delivery plans and reviewing the performance of warehouse staff
7. Managing equipment usage and maintenance / TPM (forklifts, trailers, slide loaders, cranes and strapping units) together with maintenance department
8. Working with import and export experts to solve related import and export issues when required
9. Necessary documentation and report work for warehouse daily work and case solving
10. Working with customer need driven mindset, driving improvement according to internal and external customer demand
11. Reporting and welcoming any deviation in daily work, leading the team to treat any deviations as the opportunities for improving the normal state
12. Setting up regular SSAB One meeting with team on deviations solving and tracking, and creating a positive SSAB One culture
13. Training and cooperating training with CI department to develop the "SSAB One " skill and problem solving ability for warehouse members

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
At least 3 years warehouse supervisor and warehouse management experience in manufacturing environment
Bachelor or Diploma degree
Having experience in shop floor management and warehouse working procedure
Having working experience in the foreign company
Having working experience with lean management (5S, TPM, visual management, etc.)
