Scope of the Job

To provide account management and account follow-up via telephony and IT systems to assigned final-tier partners in partnership with Channel managers and Territory Account Managers to optimize PTX China Business.
 1. Establish and maintain good account relationship
      a. Outbound calls to existing partners on regular basis to maintain good account relationship
      b. Build and maintain top-of-mind share for PTX brand and product preference
      c. Build new relationship to new / potential partners based on assigned list from BDM or channel managers
      d. Well versed in final tier programs and on-going promotions or incentives to drive final-tier to sell more PTX business
      e. Viewed by Final Tier partner as their “Trusted” account manager in PTX

2. Out-bound Account management and follow up
      a. Outbound call check-list to help channel manager and Territory account manager follow up tasks
      b. Provide regular account updates and follow up status
      c. Gather inputs and feedbacks from partners on these issues
      d. Status checks in the partner calls
        
3. Optimize PTX business opportunity
      a. Status update on existing funnel from partners already registered in PTX list
      b. Uncover new opportunities
      c. Help partners register the new opportunities in PTX Deal Registration
      d. Help to escalation / highlight funnel issues to TAM and Channel Manager

4. Issues and escalation handling
      a. Provide summarized reports on issues & feedback from partners on daily, weekly basis
      b. Provide communication on resolutions or status update from PTX back to partners.
      c. Act as final tier partners’ “Inside-Sales” Go-to person for PTX business

 5. Gather business intelligence from the channel partners
      
Key Responsibilities

1. Own account management of final tier partners via outbound telesales
2. Build and maintain strong partner relationship of these partners
3. Drive these final tier to meet / exceed assigned business targets by month, quarter and year
4. Drive these final tier partner to meet their channel business fundamentals targets
5. Uncover new opportunities
6. Work on existing opportunities to help drive closure
7. Plan outbound call based on daily / weekly call schedule, check-list to reached desired objectives
8. Provide call / activity summary based on daily, weekly and monthly roll-up
 

Qualifications
1. Diploma or University degree holder in Business, Computer Science or equivalent
2. Good communication skills, especially over telephone
3. Detailed and good follow-up capability
4. Strong desire to win

Key Experience
1. Experience in telesales, telephone techniques and etiquettes
2. Experience in sales of IT hardware (printers) via channel partners
3. Experience in selling into commercial or industry vertical market
4. Experience at managing partner relationship, business and channel programs
5. 1-3 years in IT business, esp in telesales

Skills and Knowledge
1. Good inter-personal /communication skills
2. Effective listening skills, questioning skills (on the phone)
3. Business, sales and partner management skills
4. Detailed, patient and excellent ability to follow up on tasks
5. Able to build trust with partners
6. Track record of good work attitude and able to deliver consistent and predictable business results
7. Good knowledge of China IT Printing business, key market segments and Partner management
8. Track record of business and code of conduct compliance
