Day to Day Responsibilities:
Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place in China entities and Asia locations to meet SOX requirements
Ensure implementation of corporate policies and procedures and compliance with statutory requirements
Carry out periodic internal control and compliance testing in China entities and Asia locations
Identify the best practices in the region and implement in the other entities
Support local finance team in the region
Ad-hoc Projects / Tasks
To manage the support to various business partners and projects as requested;
Support local finance team in the region, i.e. help to close the book of one unit;
Coordinate intercompany charges and transactions, etc.
Education & Experience
Bachelor Degree with major in finance or related fields
CPA, ACCA or CIA
Required Skills
Experience
Essential:
3 years’ above experience in one of the Big4 CPA firms, and/or
Related experience in US MNC, prefer manufacturing industry
Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors
Knowledge
Sound knowledge of PRC GAAP
Sound knowledge of US GAAP
SOX framework
Skills
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
Good language skills both English and Mandarin
Must be adept in use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet and email
Behaviors
Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook,
Mature, credible, responsible, self-confident,
Sufficient mobile and flexible to accept +50% travel within China.
Desired Skills
Experience in implementing internal control or SOX auditing
Experience in a manufacturing industry with responsibility for implementing SOX
Good technical skills (e.g. finance & accounting, costing, tax)
Soft Skills
Excellent written and oral presentation skills needed to brief high level management
Sense of urgency and creativity to handle project issues and adapt plan to meet objectives
Flexibility to adapt to changing environment; be a change agent to help others through change
Cross-cultural Sensitivity
