Essential Responsibilities
• Develop and validate firmware/software applications for intelligent lighting applications
• Design firmware for electronic lighting control products following GE specification and New Product Introduction (NPI) process
• Cooperate with cross-functional teams and external developers to meet program delivery commitment
• Develop software development processes for Lighting business
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Power electronics, Electrical engineering, Computer science or automation etc.
Experience with Embedded systems and programming
Proficiency on the C and C++ program skills
Strong debugging skills in both software and hardware
Good interpersonal and communication skills; Must be able to communicate effectively both in written and oral English in a global team.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently on extended assignments
Previous Linux knowledge or Agile experience is preferred
Previous development experience in the fields of TCP/IP, IEEE802.15.4, 6lowpan, Bluetooth or Zigbee is preferred Previous experience development on smart home or smart lighting products is preferred.
