Major Responsibilities:

-Lead the
operation team of Vehicle Application.

-To supervise the operations of any kind of TRW vehicle test
facility (internal and external)

-To supervise
completion of the construction of the winter test facility at the TRW Heihe
winter test center

-To generate maintenance and upgrade plans to ensure that
the TRW test facilities are fit for testing purposes to the TRW standards which
includes also assessments of external resources

-To provide
operational planning & supervision for the winter test facility in Heihe
during the operation in the winter season

-To plan
additional summer test facilities in the Shanghai region in terms of cost,
construction and time planning

-To assist in
the planning of future growth areas in the vehicle application group to ensure
that the facilities are in place to match the program requirements

-To develop and
implement a reporting method to the management for all vehicle application test
facilities and infrastructure which includes HSE-audit readiness, workshop-
& facility management guidelines and work instructions

-To manage
vehicle- & people logistics according to project development schedules
incl. resource planning

-To supervise
workshop personal and allocate resource to secure the responsible VA-engineers
requirements

-To manage VA
event-logistics (customer demos, technology presentation, automotive fairs)

-Compliance with
TRW HSE-standards as well as responsibility for Cleanliness & Order at the
respective TRW VA-test facility sites.

-Supervise V.A capital assets including cars, instrument
equipment and tools.

-Support task
assignment of operation team according to the requirement of all V.A engineers
(slip control, base brake, HIL).

Key Competencies:

-Sound knowledge of building and civil engineering
principles

-Understanding of automotive industry

-High level planning and supervision skills

-Good negotiation skills

-Good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese
and English languages

-Willing to travel both domestically and internationally to
support vehicle application projects

-Good level presentation skills

-Good level computer skill

-Good team player with leadership qualities

-Should have at least 3 years experience of the project
planning and building/civil engineering/facility management in the Automotive
relating industry with provable record & reference

Education and Experience:

Educational: BSc or
higher in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or construction
engineering.
