Key Work Performance Areas

-Develop and maintain Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Management Systems based on local HS&E regulatory and TRW HS&E Management System requirement
-Collect all applicable legal and other requirements related to HS&E, evaluate compliance status, take appropriate actions to meet laws and regulation requirement
-Manage HS&E program, including Machine Risk Assessment, ergonomics, behavior based safety etc.
-Provide HSE training/ Refresh training to employees to increase awareness and skills
-Support every department to complete HSE hazard identification and risk assessment, follow up actions to reduce risk to acceptable level
-Support to complete new equipment HS&E review prior to put into use
-Collect MSDS of Chemical. Make sure bilingual versions are available. New chemicals are assessed prior to be used
-Assess and select appropriate PPE for employees
-Make sure hazardous waste are classified, collected, stored and treated as per regulatory requirement
-Implementing periodical HS&E inspections and internal audit, identify corrective actions and follow-up actions to close
-Organize First Aid training to employees, manage materials in First aid boxes and clinic room
-Organize emergency response drill, such as fire etc.
-Sign off working permit for high risk jobs, for example hot work/ working at height/ expose to live wire etc.
-Manage security guard team to make sure security risk is minimized
-Provide HSE training to contractor teams, supervise contractor employees activities during task is being performed
-Communicate with external governmental authority agencies to deal with HSE related issues.
-Conduct accident investigation and take appropriate actions to eliminate root cause
-HS&E reporting (metrics, progress toward objectives and targets etc.) and communication within site and organization
-Facilitate HS&E Committee meeting
-Other tasks assigned Manager



Skills, Education and Experience
-Bachelors Degree in Environmental/Safety Engineering or Relative Engineering Background
-At least 3 years experience in manufacturing area emphasis on OHS and Environmental
-Working knowledge regarding HS&E laws and regulation requirement
-Working experience regarding ISO 14001 and/or OHSAS, EMS internal auditor certificate is preferred
-Suitable candidate will work independently
-Show initiatives and be able to organize self (project and time management)
-Strong organization and analytical skills, attention to detail
-Good training and presentation skills
-Strong communication skills
-Computer skills, MS office and Email
-English at an advanced level
