Essential Responsibilities
Lead Design electronic driver system for lighting products and systems using LED light sources.
Lead and Cooperate with LED Systems design engineer on the electronics design for LED products.
Electrical design activities in rigorous stage-tollgate LED system product development environment.
Accountable for product design to specification
Usage of Design for Six Sigma Quality Deployment tool set in product design.
Participate in defining product specifications, Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design Freeze, Design Validation, Product & Process Qualification
Conduct simulation/testing and evaluation of the electronics design.
Work with commercial team to Interface with customers regarding Voice of the Customer input
Work with Quality, Manufacturing and Sourcing Teams in interfacing with suppliers.
Develop expertise in Electrical Product Safety Standards and apply to product design.
Work with well with team members in shared resource Multi-tasking environment.
Demonstrating technical depth in dynamic LED Industry environment is key.
Optimize the design for cost competitiveness and manufacturability.
Collaborate with PMQE on the manufacture process review and improvement
Communicate with cross functional team to understand design input and requirements and seek out the opportunity for improving productivity.
Conducts design analyses or simulation of analog and/or digital circuits, with focus being on analog. Performs review of design analyses to ensure correct calculations and methods were used with verified assumptions.
Simulation capability to support the design on: power switching, gate drive circuits, analog and sensing circuits Contributes to research, technology development and program execution resulting in new and/or improved products. - Follow program schedule to fulfill detailed design
Follow guideline and rules to deliver design documents
Verify design meet design requirements and standards compliance then deliver test report.
New technology research and apply to product development
Qualifications/Requirements
·Major in electronic technology, automation and automatic control
·Bachelor or upward of, CET six level with at least 3 years experience, Lighting experience is preferred
·Demonstrated understanding and practical experience on power supply
·Understanding of reliability of electronics and able to use the tools for the reliability analysis
·Good interpersonal and communication skills, must be able to communicate effectively both in written and oral English in a global team.
·Self-motivated and capable of working independently on extended assignments
·Fluent Chinese speaking skills
