职位描述
This is a contractor role.
The final candidate will sign the labor contract with a third party.
Role Summary/Purpose: manage & control sourced shipments out of Asia to USA
Essential Responsibilities:
* Give the shipping instruction to Appliances suppliers in Asia, especially in China.
* Manage carriers’ space and on-time delivery per PSI schedule with cost consideration
* Well aware of the local Customs requirement for shipments and fix the problems when occurred.
* Work with local carriers/forwarders/suppliers closely.
* Give trainings how to use GE ERP and have them submit ASN correctly in a timely manner
* Understand USA customs regulations and give suppliers the correct instruction to meet the requirement
* Provide volume forecast and generate tracking report & documentation
* Support implementation of logistics projects
* Any other assignment on a requirement basis
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Education: BS degree
* Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant working experience in logistics
* Strong communication skills & abilities to work with multi-functional team
* Strong Computer Skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Words)
* Fluent Spoken & Written in English
