Major Responsibilities:

? Construction of OSS system and system components.
? Create basic design in line with internal and customer requirements, specifications and guidelines according to instructions and cost targets.
? Reconstruction or re-develop new product assy when existing techonology cannot meet the customer requirement
? Documentation of the design and all other relevant processes according to Engineering and quality guidelines.
? Development and support for the Application of OSS components on OSS systems.
? Raise and follow ERDs for 3D/2D data correction
? Support of series products.
? Assist customer, and support supplier.
? Production support in case of problems.
? Confirm deviations on component and product level
? Work out DVPR for component level and product level for local parts
? Coordinate the validation of components in product level for localization, backup tool/dual source, and plant move
? Support issue solving in component and product test including PV Test
? Support on BOM construction as a product expert, confirm part status
? Results oriented collaboration with other departments, with customers and suppliers.
? Create single, assembly, and customer drawings.
? Create components design FMEAs, and tolerance study.
? Development of design and drawing guidelines.
? Working according to ISO/QS standards and VDA (6), implementation of all 14001 requirements in the design.
? Concept comparison for economic analysis, and customer specification.

Education and Experience:

Educational:
? Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, or Automotive, bachelor prefered
? Certified Engineer or chartered Engineer.

Experience:
? Design experience with mechanical structure/product, vehicle manufacturing and vehicle electronics, also products of vehicle accessories.
? Above 5 years engineering experience in the automotive industry, with OSS systems and their components
