ABOUT DIRECT HR:

Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews
Responsibilities:
+ Ensure the smooth functioning of the engineering and mechanical support departments, ensure production has adequate engineering support and ensure processes are adequate
+ Co-ordinate process validation
+ Provide engineering support to production
+ Encourage improvement initiatives
+ Use statistical tools to improve process yields and reduce quality defects
+ Participate in the analysis and search for causes of nonconformities and the devising of corrective action needed to ensure that defects do not re occur
+ Work in close collaboration with quality control and technical support departments on customer quality complaints
+ Perform compliance internal audits and report any significant non conformities to the corporate engineering team
+ Participate in the formulation of work instructions for new equipment and processes
+ Participate in the development and optimization of new processes in collaboration with the corporate engineering team
+ Participate in the review, recommendations and approval of tenders
+ Participate in pre-production and product planning in collaboration with the corporate engineering team
+ Participate in the development of a maintenance and preventive maintenance schedule and procedures and keep them current, in cooperation with the Production Manager and Maintenance Manager
+ Participate in the pre-production testing of new equipment and processes
+ Assign tasks to employees for processes development
+ Coordinate and verify the execution of the assigned tasks
+ Provide and record training to personnel assigned to engineering team
+ Evaluate the performance of employees assigned to engineering team
Requirements:
+ English spoken (fluent) and written (intermediate)
+ At least a Bachelor's degree in engineering;
+ Minimum of five (5) years experience with process development;
+ Minimum of five (5) years experience with statistical process control techniques;
+ Management background (asset)
