Responsibilities:

? Manage the commercial project pipeline in the Savory Application: Food Service and Meat Processing work queue. Ensure on time and high quality solutions that win projects

? Develop consumer winning Blends,Seasonings, prototypes and technologies for customer projects.

? Serve as culinary technical expert and advisor to marketing, sales, flavor creation, and customers.

? Plan, lead and execute large development and applications projects to develop innovative products.

? Lead Food Service& Meat Processing Application team.

? Member of Pipeline Assessment Team.

? Support Creation in the application of new trials and Support lab staff to achieve optimal performance.

? Liaise with team on key projects to exchange information and technology.

? Participate and support BU and Strategic activities.

? Responsible for sourcing & maintaining equipment’s required for the Meat Processing Lab and Industrial Kitchen.

? Manage lab facilities, keep lab clean with all ingredients in stock ready for use with adequate expiry dates.

? Ensure all Blends& Seasonings meet Seasoning Creation Guidelines.

? Motivate and facilitate the development of direct reports.

? Spearhead projects that translate trends into innovative Blends& Seasonings.

? Should be in a position to handle all processed meat requests from various customers throughout the APAC region.

? Putting in place facility and equipment for processed meat capability in China.

? Development of recipes and application formulations for customers in the region

Requirements:

? Polytechnic or University Degree or Advance Diploma in natural or Food Science, chemistry, Food Technology, Meat Processing or other related area

? Hands on Application experience in Processed Meat and Food Service with sustained track record of new wins

? Extensive knowledge of Oleoresins and other Seasoning raw materials and ingredients; costing as well as functionality, compatibility and stability; and Seasoning and food ingredient regulations in China.

? Thorough understanding how to deliver taste through Blends and Seasonings

? 4-6 years of experience in the Processed Meat Industry or Supplying Food Ingredient solutions for the Processed Meat Industry

? Extensive knowledge of trends, technology and processes for product categories/ business units, customers major products and processes and application of organoleptic evaluation techniques.

? Drive for Results, Creativity, Customer Focus, Organizational Agility, Timely Decision Making, Building Effective Teams.

? Knowledge on Recipe creation and Formulation of various types of Meat Application and thorough knowledge on the functional ingredients and technical aspects of creation of different types of meat preparations( Sausages, Patties, Nuggests, Meat Ball)
