Essential Responsibilities
Develop and implement vendor process improvement in key fulfillment areas as demand planning. PSI/capacity planning and scheduling and material management.
Develop SOP that can be translated to all vendors based on GE best practices.
Implement metrics and scorecard to measure and improve vendor service – Fill Rate and Past dues
Implement metrics and improve On Tim Ship process (from PO initiation to ship from port)
Drive OTS Lead Time reduction from 6-8 weeks down to 2 weeks working with the vendors and GE cross functional team.
Weekly Vendor pulse on key service metrics
Help qualify new suppliers and implement Service expectations in the contract
Qualifications/Requirements
BS/BA degree required, or equivalent
Strong process orientation; confortable leading change
Analytical/detail oriented
Strong leadership skills
High energy level with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Project Management experience
Strong customer focus
Proven track record, enthusiastic can-do attitude
Sense of urgency required
Desired Characteristics
Six Sigma certified
At least 5 years' experience in management role of Fulfillment, Sourcing or distribution
Excellent oral and written communication with strong influencing skills
Strong project/program management experience and track record
High energy, aggressive self-started and strategic thinker
Proven leadership ability to handle and prioritize multiple/competing priorities
