Our client is a famous US owned enterprise in Qingdao.

Job Title: EHS Manager


Job Duties:
?Ensure EHS compliance with Legal requirements, corporate standards and other EHS related requirements.
?Implement EHS management system and improve EHS performance.
?Provide Support and advises as required for line management.
?Organize and coordinate EHS related internal & external audits.
?Implementing EHS related legal requirements, corporate standards and site policies and procedures in Qingdao sites to make
sure the compliance;
?Monitor all relevant additions or changes to EHS legislation and other EHS requirements to ensure that they are communicated
to site management and implemented where appropriate;
?Conduct risk assessment to identify risks and corrective actions, implement risk mitigation projects, corrective actions, to
improve safety performance and prevent safety related incidents;
?Implement EHS management system to keep driving EHS continues improvement.
?Dual report to plant manager and BU EHS leader, provide support and advices as required for line managers, operation
managers, supervisors to improve site EHS performance;
?Lead EHS professionals to carry out EHS activities and programs to support operations;
?Implement and coordinate EHS related internal/external standards/audits to make sure the EHS compliance;
?Supervise operation EHS, carry out EHS inspections, internal audits and follow up the corrective actions.

Requirements:

Educational Degree
?Bachelor Degree or above on Machinery, Engineering, Environmental or Chemistry.
?Machinery, Engineering, Environmental or Chemical Industry education background or work experience.
?Good English in written and reading, basic oral English communication skill is required.

Professional Experience
?Over 8 years working experience and 5 years working experience on EHS, at least 2 years working experience on EHS leader
role.
?Be professional on ISO14001, ISO18000 and other EHS management system.
?Be professional on LOTO standards, Machine Guarding Standards, electrical safety standards, as well as other safety related
standards.
?Be professional on fire safety and emergency response management.
?Be familiar with incident investigation, 5 why tools.
?Be familiar with China and local EHS regulations and laws.
?Be familiar with environmental reduction, energy saving.
?Good communication and interaction skills with EHS governors.

Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
?Strong leadership, interpersonal and problem solving skills;
?Ability to work with cross-functional teams or alone without supervision;
?Ability to work under high pressure;
?Good communication skills, including written and spoken Mandarin and English;
?Good training and presentation skills;
?Familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
