SPECIFICATIONS

JOB KNOWLEDGE:
- B.S. technical degree with a minimum of 8 years related experience of which five must be in a manufacturing leadership position.

- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes with good working knowledge of engineering, safety, chemical processing, maintenance management and inventory management.

- Thorough understanding of processing equipment available for use in the flavor industry.

- Knowledge of TQM,lean manufacturing, 6 sigma and Cycle Time techniques as methods for continuous performance improvement is preferred.

- Computer literacy in various P.C. based applications such as M.S.Word and Excel
spreadsheets.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Requires independent decisions on production issues on a daily basis.


ANALYTICAL REQUIREMENT:

Problems encountered range from routine to complex. Most relate to operational and/or personnel needs and can be resolved by discussion with affected individuals or departments ending in a final decision.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

Individuals reporting to this position are supervisors, production scheduler and sampling assistant.


STAFF RESPONSIBILITY:

To provide the support on production function- overall responsibility for flavour production, inventory controls, packaging and sampling lab activities
