Company Background: Health Nutrition results in the development of ever more precise foods that meet the specific nutritional requirements of dogs and cats

Report to: National Saels Director

PURPOSE:

Plays a critical role in the organization, leading the overall sales strategy, market development, customer relationship management and channel expansion.
Building strong relationships with all stakeholders, leading with a positive 'can-do' attitude and being persistent in delivering a world-class service to customers are all critical attributes required to be successful in this role.
Formulate long-term corporate strategies that promote the corporate image of China as well as creating a favourable environment for conducting brand / business building activities in China.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Develop and maintain adequate relationships with external key stakeholders including customers, politicians, general public, policy makers, legislators, media and other key opinion formers in order to solicit solid support required to facilitate the business operations and development.
Monitor the strategic development of China central government; ensure minimum exposure of business risks thru fully understand and alignment with both social and government’s needs.
To act as principal adviser, providing recommendations on all legal issues associated with the Corporation’s operation and to provide reports on the implications of new and impending legislation or regulation, identifying potential advantage opportunities to advance the Corporation's priorities and objectives.
Oversee the design, development and production of corporate communication materials and the organization of publicity events / activities to ensure messages align with the corporate relations strategy and convey key messages of the Corporation in an accurate and timely manner.
Develop and implement an effective on-the-job training and development plan based on continuous analysis, monitoring knowledge and performance of individuals within Corporate Affairs team.

1.Sales Strategy & Execution
Responsible for the overall sales strategy and execution, market development and growth
Responsible for increasing caloric coverage, promoting the brand and working closely with customers to maximize their margins and loyalty to Company
Utilize channel sales data to create an annual action plan for channel and customers
Utilize marketing tools and technical resources to differentiate and enhance the company brand to increase market coverage

2.Customer Engagement & Brand Awareness
Constantly look for opportunities to build closer relationships with customers, tailoring solutions to build their business and maximize their margins and profitability
Differentiate company brand from competition through strong and continual 2-way education with customers

Background Experience, Qualifications & Functional Competence Required
Strong logical thinking ability, deliberate questioning in a comprehensive, thorough manner, able to maintain balance & principle persistence
Experience on team management, to unite & lead the team to achieve predetermined/predefined targets
Strong ability in handling customer relations, superior negotiation ability, can solve questions & challenges encountered from work in a timely manner
Strong organizing & coordination ability, able to consolidate company’s information & convert to competitive advantage
Strong ability on market development judgment & analysis, to obtain advantageous position (edge)
Sales management, channel development and market expansion, capacity to drive sales expansion on the mid and long term
People management including performance management and leadership
Extensivesales experience (minimum 10 years) ideally in FMCG, Pharma or other fast-paced product-centric environment
Strong team management (minimum 3 years) experience ideally in an MNC leadership role where you were responsible for targets, performance management and all aspects of team development
Market development exposure where you’ve identified expansion opportunity, set the strategy and motivated others to succeed in the execution
Strong customer relationship experience, working in close partnership with key stakeholders including customers, channel, internal functions and suppliers.
Experience thriving in a rapidly changing environment, where innovation and creativity in generating ideas for quick response is crucial.
Ideally a Bachelor Degree or equivalent business experience
Good conversational level English and excellent Putonghua
