Essential Responsibilities:
1.Interface of customer requirement, capture and communicate the requirement with customer, ensure availability of customer requirement specifications for all project stakeholders.
2.Coordinate and communicate closely with engineering team to analyze the customer requirement, identify risk level associated with new feature development and ensure the customer requirement can be met and consistent with commitment. Tracking of completion of requirements analysis process.
3.Develop the system requirement specification document according to external and internal customer requirement. Setup requirements management environment by providing necessary modules based on organizational templates.
4.Ensure bidirectional traceability among requirements and traceability to design documents, work tasks and test plans. Maintain the requirement documents in DOORS and other tools according to company process requirement.
5.Tracking and manage the customer change according to change management process.
6.Support internal technical activities such as product DFMEA development, Schematic Reviews, Warranty, Diagnostics, DVP&R, User’s Manual, Technical Service Bulletins, Appearance Approvals and PSO follow up.
7.Support the software/hardware/mechanical developers at the unit and system level to insure that all requirements are met and the highest software quality is achieved; engage internal engineering team to fix the issue and response to customer with proper report.
8.Track engineering prototype submission to customer and follow up test result at customer site; system and Vehicle components integration/diagnostics/debug in vehicle environment, provide customer on site support;
9.Representation of Process in Audits and Assessments (e.g. SPICE, TS 16949) and support the requirement process continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Science, or computer Engineering
2.Five years of systems engineering or application engineer background in automotive industry of other QS9000 complaint work area; Practical experience in related areas such as system design, hardware/software design and real time embedded applications.
3.Experience with DOORS preferred; Prior experience providing detailed reviews on complex/technical specifications.
4.Broad technical background with general knowledge of infotainment system components such as Navigation, Global Positioning Satellites, AM/FM tuners, Hard Disk drive, compressed audio encoding/decoding, Bluetooth, color TFT displays, TMC, RDS, Satellite Radio, DVD, video, Voice Recognition, Hands-Free operation and automotive environmental requirements.
5.Strong background with low and high-speed vehicle bus protocols; Experience in vehicle interface development and testing like CAN, LIN and diagnostics;
6.Solid experience on root cause analysis and problem solving; capablee to use tool/method for debugging in vehicle;
7.Detailed oriented and very organized.
