Main Responsibilities:

-Develop System Product requirements and software requirements.

-Perform detailed specification, design and development of complex safety critical features.

-Review plans and architecture with customer engineers.

-Provide expert assistance in integration and troubleshooting.

-Prepare and present technical communications to the customer.

-Review test plan procedures to ensure feature(s) are thoroughly tested.

-Responsible for design trade-off analysis, design implementation, requirements vs capability analysis, DFMEA’s, and worst case analysis.

-Interfacing with the customer is required.

-This is a lead role that would entail working in a matrix organization interfacing with suppliers, purchasing, manufacturing, test engineering, quality and sales.

-Ability to review schematics, system specifications, book of evidence, BOM, layout PCB’s, coordinate build and verification tests.

-Vehicle testing – plan, procedure, and conduct testing, download data and explain results

Educational: Electronics and Software engineering background are desirable.
