Responsibilities: 1. Manage all safety related programs and activities in the plant to ensure continuous compliance with safety, environment and health requirements defined by government and company can be achieved. 2. The engineer needs regularly evaluate company SHE policy and rules to make sure the effectiveness. 3. The engineer conducts routine plant safety check and auditing to find out potential problems and risks on process and equipment. He leads the PHA efforts to continuously improve the safety soundness of process and equipment. 4. The engineer is responsible for conducting investigations relating to accidents, injuries and near-miss incidents. 5. The engineer has Process Hazardous Analysis skill and technique and be capable of organize and lead an effective PHA. 6. This position is responsible for coordinating emergency procedure through interaction with in-plant personnel and outside emergency responders and agencies. Also responsible for developing and maintaining excellent neighbor and community relations, especially good relations with concerned government agencies 7. Responsible for providing safety training to both employees and contractors workers to ensure every one working within the plant is fully aware of safety rules and requirements. 8. The engineer is also responsible for organizing on site safety practice/drills, such as emergency response drill, firefighting drill and etc by utilization internal and external resources. 9. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining excellent neighbor and community relations, especially good relations with concerned government agencies. Qualifications and Abilities: 1. Bachelor degree in Safety, environmental protection or chemical engineering; 2. Plus 5 years of experiences at SHE position of an Foreign owned chemical industrial; 3. Strong technical and professional knowledge and excellent safety and environmental compliance awareness; 4. Familiar with SHE regulations and codes for chemical production; 5. Strong communication influencing skills in a matrix organization; 6. Strong problem solving competency; 7. Good command of English both orally and writing; 8. Certified Safety Engineer qualifications prefer.
