Major Responsibilities:

-Interface between manufacturing and Engineering. Understand request from manufacturing line and help to find solution with support of engineering team

-Interface to the customers, suppliers and other company functional teams representing engineering;

-Analyze and discuss with customers on product requirements during RFQ phase to make technical proposals to acquire new business;

-Prepare technical proposals, BOM and engineering costs to CQA team to run business case

-Lead the entire project engineering team to deliver the engineering assignments to meet the project timing, cost, quality target as per corporate engineering development processes

-Deliver the engineering process document in compliance with development processes as well as automotive Spice requirements;

-Co-ordinate and liaise the prototype builds during the development phase with the support from rest of the engineering team;

-Support the hardware engineers/software engineers in debugging, diagnosing and testing the prototypes;

-Diagnose and fault-find the ABS/VSC/EPB ECU products during different quality events pre and post production launches

-Support the validation engineer to complete the DVP/PVP.

-Support the braking system team in commissioning and tuning the braking systems.

-Perform any other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned on an ad hoc basis by the Chief Engineer.

Key Competencies:

-Good knowledge of automotive product manufacturing process

-Experience on EOL /function test and debug preferred

-Good organizational and coordination skills; must be independent.

-Good command of diagnosis tools and programming software through CANanalyzer and Labview.

-Good knowledge of micro-processor architecture and application;

-Strong skills in sub-system diagnosis and fault findings

-Good time management skills and communication ability with all level of people.

-Excellent project management skills and knowledge

-Willing to learn and develop, self-starter as well as decisive.

-Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills;

-Self-motivation and good interpersonal skills;

-Technical automotive electronics knowledge desirable

-6 Sigma Green Belt desirable

-Automotive Spice experience desirable

-Good command of English language
