JOB SCOPE
To ensure operations are running with full compliance and meet EHS requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES
1. Provide professional support on Environmental, Health, Safety and Security affairs to all functions to ensure regulatory and company standard compliance;
2. Assume the Site leadership role on Environmental, Health, Safety and Security at appropriate stage;
3. Take the lead within EHS teams to develop Site annual EHS strategy, Compliance Plan and EHS compliance calendar;
4. Master Safety, Health and Security programs and provide supports to other functions, and will progress to be the Site gatekeeper on Safety, Health, Security affairs in dealing with government agencies and EHS Tier 2 professionals;
5. Maintain good integrity of Safety, Health and Security procedures to meet requirements of local regulations and the company’s standards;
6. Work with other departments to ensure Site EHS training program support the effectiveness of Site EHS systems;
7. Lead and coordinate Environmental, Health, Safety and Security improvement plans to achieve sustainable EHS excellence;
8. Develop and lead safety promotion programs to raise safety awareness;
9. Develop and lead site audit plans, self-assessment plans in Environmental, Health, Safety and Security areas to support site EHS strategy, and compliance plan.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor degree with Chemical Engineering or Engineering background;
2. At least 8 years work experience in which minimum 5 years experience on EHS, at least 3 years as Manager role. A certified safety engineer is preferred;
3. Good command of written and verbal English;
4. Strong communication & interpersonal skills;
5. Demonstrate strong leadership capability.
6. Can lead projects and drive to change, always drive to seek improvement.

We are now seeking to hire approximately 100 management and professional staff covering the varied disciplines of production, engineering, quality, purchasing, material, logistics, finance, HR, EHS, facilities, and administration. We also look to hire approximately 1,100 production staff and workers. Upon completion, this plant will be the largest manufacturing base of the industry.
