Position Overview
This is a key role within Hager to oversee financial aspects of the sales and marketing business, perform the financial reporting and provide financial support, analysis and advice for the management team. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the business as well as possible risks and investments. The goal is to guide the company towards improved profitability and long terms success. It is also to enable the company’s local leaders to act as business owners and make sound business decisions

Specific Responsibilities:
Decision Support
· Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and year end basis.
· Analyse costs. Pricing, variable contributions, sales results and Marketing Area’s financial performance compared to business plans
· Interpreting financial information and provide insightful and robust reporting and commentary detailing financial and non-financial information to key stakeholders in order to assist them making business decisions
· Research technical accounting issues for compliance
· Maintain and strengthen internal controls
· Work with group controller, accounting and treasury department on projects and initiatives
Budgeting/Planning
· Manage the preparation of the company’s budget
· Drive the financial planning of the local business analysing its performance and risks
· Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and acting to prevent problems

Qualifications and Experience:
· In depth knowledge of finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
· Solid knowledge of financial analysis and reporting
· Solid knowledge of tax law, experience on TP and tax optimisation is a plus
· Proficient in the use of SAP, Excel and MS Office
· Strong financial modelling skills
· An analytical mind with strategic ability
· Excellent organisational and leadership skills
· Outstanding communication (verbal and written skill sets) and interpersonal abilities
