Job Description
(Briefly describe major responsibility of the position)
Main function will be to facilitate 'Technical Development activities' in China. Request strong capability in this role, the scope of the job would likely be,
(a) Automotive OEM specification process management, such as GM, Ford, VW and CH Automotive OEM specification work. This includes lead technical discussion with leading Auto OEMs to understand requirements, develop value propositions of our products and to identify new opportunities.
(b) Certification process management such as plumbing, water related certifications (*1)
(*1): e.g. NSF, WRAS, KTW, ACS
This includes to Identify and react to Plumbing/ Water supply market trends as well as coordinate the contacts (both internal and external) related to the business development.
(c) Communication with Japan as well as facilitate GCH development theme and effective use CH TSC network in cooperation with the relevant Technical persons, participate important meetings and actively implement management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
(a) Automotive Spec In work (40%)
Incl. take one AD theme leader (Application development)
(b) Certification tracking management (25%)
namely NSF, WRAS, KTW, ACS
including communication with PPC Japan QA dept
(c) To take care certain customers/ e.g. Auto OEM (25%)
(d) General Development support (10%)
Requirements:
(Education, Qualification, Experience, Special Skills, Languages, and etc.)
Education: Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Polymer.
Experience: Min 3 years of working experience in sales & marketing, preference to have Automotive Tier-1 or OEM business development experience, or quality assurance knowledge (such as mechanical properties, quality agreement items.)
Personal skill and characteristics: Effective problem solving, Proactive own improvement and self-learning attitude, sufficient knowledge on polymers.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, English or Japanese (both are best )
Capability for PC basic knowledge (Words, Excel, Power Point)
