RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides customer service / technical system support to customers to achieve
product solutions and maintain inter-company and distribution support.
2. Participates in the creation and development of the product installation, operations
and maintenance manuals to ensure our products meet industry regulations and
requirements. Works closely with engineering in the process of engineering
deviations and changes to ensure product conformance for effective system
operation.
3. Coordinates customer system design with sales application personnel to ensure customer system design parameters, product manufacturing / vendor requirements and installation logistics are accurately timed to complete the turn-key system in the customer expected lead-time.
4. Facilitates field installation, equipment operation, warranty service and maintenance on site at customer’s location to ensure system performance achieves customer’s requirements. Works closely with vendors / suppliers to coordinate complementary vendor supplied components and manufactured products
seamlessly work together.
5. Develops service training programs and educates distribution partners and sales personnel on the principles of industrial ventilation system fit, form and unctionality in association with the use of products.
6. Coordinates training programs and works to ensure the successful communication of expertise to industry distribution partners, regional managers, customers, etc.
7. Effectively communicates through active listening; acting on input; sharing
information in an open, timely manner and encouraging others to do the same. Maintains appropriate confidentiality.
JOB SPECIFICATION
EXPERIENCE:
·3-5 years Industrial, technical application, field service experience required.
·1-3 years Product design and development experience preferred.
·Good understanding of the industrial ventilation market, competitors, and standards is preferred.
EDUCATION:
·Bachelor of Science degree in a technical or engineering discipline required or
equivalent experience.
