Major Responsibilities:


-Support/lead sensor application engineering (including ABS, TC, VSC product applications and other TRW sensor products)

-Establish and execute sensor product development/validation testing plan together with internal and external teams (customers) for the responsible projects

-Interface with customers when necessary to understand customers' requirements and to communicate with customers through informal and formal presentations and meetings.

-Prepare sensor technical solutions/specifications based on customer requirements/applications together with product engineering and customer application engineering team.

-Member of global sensor product development teams to stay aligned with global sensor engineering plan/roadmaps and reflect those directions/decisions into local applications.

-Work closely with program management team to ensure product engineering delivery is smooth and on time

-Participate in the selection of the right Tier 2 suppliers when required. Ensure the supplier products are meeting the TRW specification/requirements. Support purchasing/supplier quality engineer for a safe launch.

-Perform any other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned on an ad hoc basis by the Chief Engineer.



Key Competencies:



-Good command of diagnosis tools and programming software through CANanalyzer and Labview.

-More than 3 years' experience in product design engineering in related field

-Good sensor engineering principles. ESC sensors include those measuring yaw rate, acceleration, pressure, steering angle, etc.

-Good knowledge and experience in sensor product design/ development/ application and release process

-Good time management skills and communication ability with all level of people.

-Good organizational and coordination skills; must be independent.

-Excellent project management skills and knowledge

-Willing to learn and develop, self-starter as well as decisive.

-Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills;

-Self-motivation and good interpersonal skills;

-Technical automotive electronics knowledge desirable

-6 Sigma Green Belt desirable

-Automotive Spice experience desirable

-Good command of English language




Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelor or above in Electronics Engineering

Experience: 5 years or above in Application Engineering role with hands-on diagnosis experience
