Major Responsibilities:

1) Work as a member of the global mechanical engineering team to follow the global mechanical engineering best practices
2) Deliver the mechanical design concepts and solutions with the right materials and processes to meet the product requirements;
3) Undertake detailed designs of mechanical parts, supporting the passive safety electronics, braking electronics and steering electronics products. Key products will be the ECU housings, connectors, and mounting brackets
4) Produce worst case analyses and tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure product assembly capability.
5) Support the manufacturing plant in the event of the assembly or manufacturing processes failure;
Support the tooling engineers in the design review with the tooling suppliers to ensure the tool made to the prints



Key Competencies:

1) Good knowledge of mechanical engineering;
2) Excellent command of MCAD tools, Catia V5 is perfect.
3) Excellent knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing techniques.
4) Good knowledge on material properties, such as plastics and metals.
5) Good knowledge on manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping and die casting.
6) Strong in measurement techniques
