Major Responsibilities:

· Communicate with customer to understand customer requirements on electric power steering system, effectively present to customer TRW capabilities and solutions on EPS product.

· Flow-down of requirements, design and development of the application software for Electric Power Steering applications, including the specification and validation of the software performance in order to fulfill sub-system requirements.

· Lead the system engineering development and be responsible for system software delivery, coordinate with customer and internal teams like control engineering, diagnostic, software as well as mechanical team and T&V team.

· Timing, resource control for system software development.

· Communicate with TRW core engineering centres to facilitate detailed system design and specification creation.

· Conduct system/software reviews to ensure product design meeting customer requirement and TRW standards.

· Work with the software teams to ensure that all software deliverables meet requirements, deliverables are to agreed standards including software functional testing, and fault insertion testing

· Evaluate product change requests from internal and external sources

· Participate in developing system test plans, creating test spec and conducting tests.

· Lead system problem analysis and solving.

Key Competencies:

.

· Solid knowledge on EPS system and software in automotive embedded environment.

· Knowledge of control theory, vehicle control system tuning is a plus

· Familiar with automotive ECU hardware function, understanding of analogue & digital electronic hardware

· Familiar with CAN bus principle and Vector CAN bus tools like CANalyzer, CANape.

· Familiar with ISO15765, UDS diagnosis is a plus

· Good English communication skill, Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Education and Experience:

Educational: Bachelor degree in automotive engineering, electrical Engineering, control engineering or other related areas.

Experience: 3+ year's professional experience specifically related to automotive industry is a plus.
