Responsibility:
1. Follow company strategies and directs improved sales distribution channel efforts through direct interaction with the manufacturer representatives, dealers, sales personnel and end-users. Establishes territory values, sales pipeline, sales goals and quotas, maintains accurate forecasting and quote tracking for the distribution channel to meet or exceed corporate sales and profit budget objectives.
2. Establishes primary channels & product focus, territory growth / succession plans, and managing the needs and expectations of the distribution channel. Assures that the aftermarket distribution system remain qualified to provide the expertise essential to apply effective product solutions and establish solid working relationships with representation and customers.
3. Directs the sales strategies and tactics for targeting, developing and implementing large customer or OEM accounts. Establish customer needs, define customer potential and business opportunity, develop and present business proposals including full submittal packages (drawings, pricing schedules, terms and conditions, delivery expectations, warranty, etc) to meet or exceed corporate sales and profit budget goals.
4. Supervises and administers sales management functions. Manages regional and territory sales activity, effective and accurate field reports, call reports, and travel and expense account activity.
5. Participate in marketing research and segmentation analysis to establish served market size, competitive products and programs, market positioning, and strategic direction to meet growth goals.
6. Effectively communicates through active listening; acting on input; sharing information in an open, timely manner and encouraging others to do the same. Maintains appropriate confidentiality.
