职位描述：
Overview
With the development of TE business, Enlarge products category and series, Meet the marketing and customer requirement.
Initiates and conducts projects and provides technical support under general supervision with the objective of meeting project targets within the engineering principles , procedures and systems, as well as TE business focus.

Responsibilities
Project Management:
Finish design review and engineering documents in time of project schedule, and exercises considerable latitude in determining the project steps and approaches. Monitors and periodically reviews project progress in order to reduce/avoid potential risk. Often coaches team members to enhance the project team's capability. Failure to achieve project targets may results in serious delays and considerable expenditure of resources. Leads a team of lower level engineers;

Product Development:
1. New Product: Conceives original ideas and proposal for new products. Provides a wide range of solutions that meet the specifications given by customers. Avaluation of identifiable factors in order to satisfy customers' demands in a technically sound and economical way. Customer spec and proposal design feasibility study and evaluate possibility and function.
2. Technology/Skill: Freely use ProE software and drawing design, tolerance calculation; Know about automative product test specification and test method.
3. Product Improvement: Improve and enlarge existing products, Quality improve and manufacture engineering support. Applies knowledge in order to determine needs and opportunities to improve existing products.
4. Product design document: Initial BOM, Product review, Drawing spec, VOC and Significant Characteristic, DFMEA. Design objective, Test Report

Technical Support:
Customer engineering service, recommend customer product. Analysis customer complaint and manufacture issue. Periodically reviews the quality of products or processes, and provides technical guidelines which require a review of a variety of factors. Establishes standards of procedure, in order to avoid deviation in the manufacturing or implementation of the product.

Product Qualification:
Determines the evaluation or test needed and confirms the accuracy of the report contents in order to ensure that the product meets the quality specification. May provide alternatives to the quality standards that are more imaginative, practicable and consistent with the company's objectives. Analyzes the causes of failure and identifies routine solutions.
Understand Automative standard spec

Innovation & IP:
Reviews patent searches to evaluate the patentability of proposed designs in order to ensure that others' patents are not infringed upon. Provides innovative solutions to reduce product cost, improve product quality, and improve process efficiency. Documents and communicates potential IP to ensure TE's IP is protected.

Product specification:
Determines specifications for technical data. Performs engineering calculations to analyze and describe the product in order to establish a standard characteristic of the product.

Qualifications
1. B.S. of Engineering with 3 or more years of experience or Masters of Science with 2 or years of experience;
2. 2 years connector design experience, familiar with molding and stamping.
3. Has a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Has a general knowledge of other related disciplines. Has a knowledge of advanced statistical techniques. Focuses on the development of the industry.
4. Interacts effectively with customers at a peer level. Builds strong internal/external working relationship. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
5. Sufficient skills in English communication (written and oral)
