Purpose of this role: Regional Implementation of the Strategic Goals at Category Level and Category-related Execution of Project Purchasing Processes
Responsibilities:
+ The Indirect Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for the entire conduct of purchasing activities in the context of project purchasing (particularly investment purchasing and one-time requirements), as well as initiatives derived from category management concerning repetitive spends.
+ Candidate specializes professionally and methodically in categories within his region and therefore reports project and category-based to the relevant competent Category Manager
+ Based on his proximity to the region or location, he acts as the access point for the Category Manager to local and regional supply markets and stakeholders and supports the Category Manager with recommendations for decisions, taking into account the respective regional conditions.
+ In the context of cross-regional/global purchasing initiatives, he acts as a member of the category team and consults closely with regard to methods, work templates, and consolidation of work results with his colleagues from other regions.
+ Supplier management (local/regional supplier relations)
？a) selection and development of an optimal supplier portfolio
？b) definition of performance KPIs and assessment of local and regional and suppliers
？c) initiation and implementation of annual development and price talks with local and regional suppliers
？d) initiation and implementation of annual development and price negotiation meetings with local and regional suppliers
+ Implementation of the procurement process in the context of category-related purchasing initiatives (local/regional initiatives) and in project purchasing.
Requirement:
+ Bachelor degree in Engineering or other relevant
+ At least 4 years experience in a in-direct purchasing role
+ Willing to work and live in Pinghu
+ Willing to be the first person for the indirect purchasing department in Pinghu factory
+ fluent English to speak daily to foreign national
+ Strong character, able to clearly and logically defend his purchasing ideas/processes
