JOB RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES
- The Customs Manager will work with all Customs declaration teams.
- Demonstrate an understanding of China import/export declaration procedures and maintain customs handbooks under normal circumstances.
- Understand the current regulatory environment and assist companies to understand how to operate compliantly and effectively.
- Develop a system to control the accuracy of Customs declaration, BOMs declaration and Handbook Management.
- Improve the procedures according to the Customs’ requirements.
- Reconciliation between physical inventory with the records in Customs handbooks monthly.
- Conduct all internal and external Customs Compliance audits.
- Match the import and export declaration sheets with the data in Forex Management Bureau.
- Maintain a good relationship of related Customs departments.
- Responsible for supervising and monitoring the daily operation of the shipping function;
- Logistics cost estimation, negotiation and control and weekly & monthly shipping metrics to review , forwarder performance assessment;
- Develop new shipping vendors and manage vendor’s performance;
- Explore new insights to streamline the shipping operation process.

QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree or above, preferably with an advanced degree in international trade or law.
- Minimum of 10 years of customs and trade experience in China.
- Broad exposure to international trade issues but deep experience preferred.
- Excellent managerial, organizational, project management, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional services environment.
- Traveling is required within Guangdong province.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Proficiency in computer applications.

Tang Rui Investment Consultancy (Weihai) Co., Ltd. is the wholly owned subsidiary of China Solutions registered in Weihai in 2012. One of the projects we are working in Weihai now is long term management outsourcing for a US Fortune 500 company Greenfield startup forecasted to put into production end of 2013 with a total land space of 100,000 square meters. We are now seeking to hire approximately 100 management and professional staff covering the varied disciplines of production, engineering, quality, purchasing, material, logistics, finance, HR, EHS, facilities, and administration. We also look to hire approximately 1,100 production staff and workers. Upon completion, this plant will be the largest manufacturing base of the industry.
